So for a good while now I've been looking into, & for, a good adult Solo game, - a game that you can play by yourself, but which is both strategic, & fun to play, - & ideally, with replayability, too. I have come across a couple of Murder Mystery games which can obviously be played solo, to work out the killer, & I'll talk about those at a later date, - but in general, whilst these look really good, - replayability? = none, not when you've worked out who the killer is. Then, I discovered 'Final Girl'‼️
• ⭐ Final Girl,
So, - just what IS 'Final Girl'?...
In my own words, Final Girl is a solo adult board game, where you have got to buy the core box first, but then can buy any extension pack / feature film to play, & can mix & match the extrnsion packs you have, creating more scenarios, diff outcomes, diff abilities, diff killers at diff locations, diff final girls, etc, & can even buy extension packs like 'from above' & 'from below', which can be used with any game pack to switch it up yet again, - so overall, LOTS of replayability. Each extension pack / feature film box is based on a horror movie, where in this game, YOU are the heroine; The Final Girl, - who is trying to avoid being murdered by the killer, - whilst also choosing whether to save victims, choosing your strategy & decisions wisely, to use to aid against the killers moves & attacks, & aiming to survive & defeat the killer. The tension builds as the game plays out, as the killer can grow stronger, causing the horror guage & his bloodlust to go up, whilst time can go down.
I think it's a really immersive game, & it's great fun trying to defeat the killer. It's not easy, & it may take a few fair attempts to actually defeat the killer & 'win', - but that's part of the excitement, & it wouldn't do for it to be made too easy, as where would the fun be in that?! - if anything, if defeated by the killer, it makes you want to replay, try harder, change your strategies, & try again! & what I love about this Final Girl range, is that once you have the Core box (which you NEED in order to play ANY of the main feature film / extension boxes), you can mix & match the killers, locations, & final girls, - like I said, - creating whole new different scenarios, & gameplay, - so it has TONS of replayablility!
Cost-wise, if you're new to Final Girl, I'd recommend starting out buying the Core box (pictured at the top, above); which is NEEDED, plus 1 or 2 of the extensions / feature films, - to get to grips with the game itself, & to try it out, see if you enjoy it, & if it's the game for you. The Core box alone will set you back £24 at time of writing this post, on Amazon, whilst the feature film boxes vary in price between £25 /£26, £28, £36, each, although you can buy the Core Duo box, - which includes the Core box itself, & the feature film 'Happy Trails' for £45, - & 'Happy Trails' (picured above), is deffo the one feature film I'd suggest starting off with, as it has no special rules like some of the others, & allows you to get to grips with the set up of the game itself (believe me, - it took me sooooooo long to figure out setting the game up first & second time around, - whilst looking at diagrams, & watching YouTube videos, to help me, too! - hence why I designed & created THIS Final Girl Player Board, - to make it FAR easier to set up the game, - knowing where everything goes, - & then you can get right into the actual gameplay a WHOLE LOT FASTER! - & you CAN actually already purchase a game mat, - but it costs around £25, & is nowhere NEAR as easy to see, bold, colourful, as functional as MY designed Player Board, - which also includes a dice roll area!

The Player Board I have designed is an A1 size board, ( = 59.4cms x 84.1cms / 23.4 x 33.1 inches), it is made from MDF, & is 2mm in thickness. It has been completely hand-drawn, & hand-painted, it features bold coloured areas showing where the killer board, the player board, & the gameplay card go, & it features metallic paint for the 'Items', & glitter for the 'Action' cards, - which has been fully sealed into place, making the Action card tableau really pop, & stand out! & it has been fully gloss sprayed to both protect, & complete it. It's sturdy, & well spaced for table top, or bed gameplay, & is spaced out well.
This Player Board is available now, as 'Made To Order', at a price of £29.99, plus p&p, & will arrive well protected & packaged.
You can also purchase a second player mat, which features additional card spaces for 'Feature Film Special Cards', & a designated 'Victim Pool' area, (see pic), ...
... - which you can still use this A1 size Player Board I have created, & just have these 2 extra cards alongside, - although I WILL be making a second Player Board, - this time an A0 Size, (84.1cms x 118.9cms), with these additional 'Feature Film Special Cards', & 'Victim Pool' designated area, included. - This Player Board will also feature a larger dice roll area, & more background colour/design, - & I'll be sure to keep you updated on its progress, & when it's completed, & available to order. This Player Board, however, will be available as 'Made To Order', & will be priced at £39.99, plus p&p, - but again, will be well protected, & well packaged.

Obviously if you love the game, & you're really hooked on it, & into it, it does work out quite pricey buying each of the feature film boxes seperalatey, - but it has tons of replayability, & the more feature film boxes you have, the more you can mix & match, & adds a whole lot more playability & replayability, - so if it's a game you end up being really into, then I'd say it's very worth the investment.
